We currently have a vacancy in our Catering department for a skilled full-time Cook. We are seeking a Cook with a can-do attitude, focus on food safety, and a passion for great food and service to join our kitchen team.

We are a large modern licensed Club in the heart of the Toowoomba CBD. We operate 7 days a week with an extensive menu and restaurant food service being a predominant driver of the business.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Ensure efficient and timely food preparation and delivery of meal services

· Clean, sanitise and maintain cooking utensils, equipment and food preparation areas

· Ensuring accurate portioning and that special dietary requirements are observed

· Ensuring all OH&S; compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and protected food handling procedures





· Contribute to menu planning in collaboration with other Cooks and Chefs

· Contribute to workplace culture by displaying high levels of customer service and contributing ideas

· Follow correct safe handling techniques to transport and store food items

· Knowledge of chemical handling

We seek:
Commercial Cookery Certificate IV
Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen environment
The quality of good time management skills & the ability to work well under pressure
A cook with a strong emphasis on food quality and presentation
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
A calm & confident attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team workplace

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
