About the role

You'll be responsible for attending residential and commercial properties across Brisbane and South East Queensland to carry out detailed inspections, assessments, investigations and reporting on roofs. This role would suit an experienced roofer who knows roofs inside and out but is looking to move away from being permanently on the tools and into inspections, reporting and leak investigations.

Key responsibilities
Detailed tile and metal roof inspections
Storm and hail damage assessments
Roof leak investigations and leak detection
Flood testing and identifying water ingress points
Maintenance and defect inspections
Roof measurements and site assessments
Identification of make-secure requirements
Identification of maintenance and repair opportunities
Detailed photographic documentation
Clear written inspection reports

About you
Robust roofing experience – tile, metal or both




Excellent knowledge of roof construction, flashings, penetrations, valleys, gutters and drainage
Solid leak detection and problem-solving skills
Ability to distinguish between storm damage, mechanical damage, installation defects and general deterioration
Confidence carrying out roof inspections independently
Good written and verbal communication
Ability to take clear, detailed site photographs
Confidence using mobile apps and technology for reporting
Strong attention to detail
Current driver's licence
