Voice Performer — Australian English (AI Speech Training)

About The Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands and communicates with millions of Australian English speakers? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists to participate in paid studio recording sessions that help leading AI research teams build more natural, human-sounding speech understanding.

This is a contract role for experienced voice performers based in Australia. Your authentic Australian accent and performance skills will contribute to genuinely meaningful AI development — and this project does not involve voice cloning.

Session Format: In-person skilled recording studio (locally assigned)
Session Length: 4-hour sessions (2–3 sessions total)

What You'll Do
Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a qualified studio environment
Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue conversations
Perform realistic dialogue that sounds natural and unscripted
Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across different scenarios

Who You Are
Native or near-native Australian English speaker with a genuine, authentic accent
Experienced voice actor or voice-over artist comfortable in a studio setting
Confident performing natural conversational dialogue — not just scripted narration
Skilled, reliable, and receptive to direction
Currently based in Australia

Nice to Have
Acting or performance background on stage, screen, or in commercials
Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or audiobook recording
Prior work in a professional recording studio environment
