We are looking for a Water Truck Operator - Join Today! We are looking for an experienced water truck or similar operator to join our team on a short term contract. 9 day fortnight, immediate start and potential to be ongoing. You will be required to cover basic horticultural tasks and maintenance across the town.

Water Truck Operations
Operate the town's water truck to carry out allocated tasks to required standards
Conduct routine inspections to ensure remains in optimal working conditions
Assist all departments in the town with water requirements
Adhering to health and safety guidelines

Horticulture Tasks
Carry out general horticultural maintenance, including pruning, tree care, planting, mulching and watering.
Apply fertilisers and chemicals for pest, disease and weed control when required.
Conduct general park maintenance and inspections, reporting any faults or potential issues to management
Maintain tools and equipment,



ensuring they are protected and operational.
Coordinate equipment, materials and watering schedules with management.

Essential Requirements
HR License
Experience driving 8 tonne water truck or similar
Knowledge of basic horticulture practises
Confident with using and maintenance of horticultural tools and equipment
Ability to work in both a team setting and alone with little supervision

Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of plant and tree species and cultural environments
Horticulture certificate or experience in similar environments
Chainsaw and chemical spraying experience
