Position : Full Time
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000 a year
Location : Noosa Heads, QLD

Sushi Yah-man is an authentic Japanese Izakaya Restaurant & Sushi Bar in one.
Their intention is to offer a welcoming and relaxed premises to enjoy the best foods Japan has to offer in Sunshine Coast. They have bought their favourite food and favourite music to the one place to create a fun, relaxing & delicious dining experience.

Sushi Yah-man requires chef with knowledge of Japanese cuisine with creativity and passion, who wants to be part of a dedicated team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation and presentation of sushi and sashimi
Solid emphasis on quality, consistence of dishes
Passion for quality output in effective time frame
Creative & skills in menu preparation, design, planning and costing




Ability to handle large service numbers
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Relevant qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Experienced in sushi and sashimi preparation and presentation
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Effective communication skills
