Salary : $75,000 - $90,000 a year
Location : Shepperton VIC

MATelec Australia is a significant player in the industry, sourcing, designing, manufacturing, and distributing an exceptional range of electrical products throughout the Oceania region. The manufacturing facility, located in Shepperton, Victoria, has capability to design, engineer, manufacture and deliver our range of products, both locally and abroad.

MATelec Australia is currently have prospects within their Control Solutions Team in the role of Engineering Technologist.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings and interpreting the logical flow diagram.
Analyse Existing Technology and Make Recommendations for Improvements.
Involved in research and development of the recent electrical products.




Experienced in AutoCAD Electrical Drawings of the Electrical pump and motor controllers.
Experienced in P&I; Diagrams/Drawings, AutoCAD Electrical General Arrangement 2D Drawings, AutoCAD Electrical Circuit Diagrams.
Experience in PLC Programming – Allen Bradley, Siemens & Omron
Understanding of Comms Protocols - Modbus/BACnet etc
Preparing documentation for system design and process development.

We require someone with the following:
Engineering degree in Electrical is preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Excellent knowledge of visualizations and interpreting Electrical Drawings.
Ability to work with team and with minimum supervision.
Robust interpersonal and Communication skills.
