PERSOL is partnering with a well-established organisation within the transport and logistics industry to recruit an experienced Administration & Inventory Manager.
This is an exciting chance for a hands-on leader who enjoys improving processes, leading teams and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of administration and inventory functions within a busy warehouse setting.
About the Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading the administration team while overseeing inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse and transport operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring an administration team.
Managing day-to-day administration and inventory functions.
Overseeing stock accuracy, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
Working closely with warehouse, transport and finance teams.
Coordinating freight documentation and operational administration.
Supporting invoicing, reporting and financial administration.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across systems and processes.
Building solid relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Previous experience in a senior administration, operations or inventory leadership role.
Experience within transport, logistics, warehousing or supply chain environments.
Robust inventory control and stock management experience.
Exposure to financial administration, reporting and reconciliations.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly regarded.
