Breakthrough Minerals (ASX:BTM) has an exciting prospect for a Senior Geologist to join its team.
Focused on resource growth and discovery across the Company's flagship North Queensland Copper-Gold Project, the successful candidate will play a key role in planning and executing exploration programs, managing drilling campaigns, interpreting geological data, and advancing high-priority copper-gold targets. Reporting to the Exploration Manager, the Senior Geologist will work closely with field teams and contractors to support the Company's next phase of exploration success.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage RC and diamond drilling programs, from drill planning, design, execution, logging and sampling.
Develop geological models and undertake geological interpretation.
Identify, rank and refine copper and copper-gold exploration targets.
Undertake 3D geological modelling, drill design and exploration data analysis using Micromine.
Supervise field teams, contractors and service providers.
Maintain exploration databases and ensure QA/QC compliance.
Validate geological and assay data and contribute to technical reporting.
Prepare exploration recommendations and support exploration strategy development.
Promote safe and effective exploration practices.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Geology.
5+ years relevant exploration experience.
QLD Cu / CuAu exploration experience highly regarded.
Micromine proficiency essential.
Experience with any recognised GIS software acceptable.
Solid experience in RC and diamond drilling management.
Strong geological interpretation and deposit/target-scale geological modelling capability.
Working knowledge of exploration QA/QC, geological databases and data validation.
Demonstrated ability to supervise field teams and manage drilling contractors/service providers.
Practical, hands-on field geologist comfortable working in a small, fast-moving exploration team.
