NW Mining & Civil are seeking an experienced workshop Fabrication Supervisor/Estimator for a permanent role with our client based at their Yatala depot.

The Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for leading and controlling workshop fabrication operations, with a robust emphasis on heavy steel fabrication and complex project work.

This role requires a fully qualified Boilermaker with extensive hands‑on experience who can manage people, quality, safety, and workflow while maintaining high production standards.

The right person will also have experience in tendering, quoting and estimating medium scale steel jobs,



along with experience importing and installing structural steel and be willing to undertake the QBCC representative status.

Along with the above skill set, the right person will posses the following:
Significant heavy fabrication experience
Supervisory experience in a fabrication environment
Estimating/tendering/quoting experience
Experience importing structural steel
Be quality focused with strong attention to detail
Be calm under pressure and be solution oriented

This is a Monday to Friday role, with Saturdays required from time to time based on workload. An excellent salary is on offer for the right person.
