We’re looking for an experienced Plant Operator with strong excavator and stockpile management skills to join our production team. Front End Loader experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant and supporting day‑to‑day production activities. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who is proactive, safety‑focused, and confident working around stockpiles and heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe working environment at all times
Plan tasks and conduct risk assessments for identified activities
Operate plant and equipment safely, including front end loaders where required
Maintain stockpiles in a protected, clean, and compliant manner
Perform manual tasks,



including accessing plant such as wash plants via stairs
Safely load and unload product onto bulk trucks
Liaise professionally with truck drivers on site
Keep all work areas clean and hazard‑free
Maintain awareness of mobile plant limitations and stock handling risks
Support any other production activities as required

What You Bring
Proven excavator and stockpile management experience
Strong safety mindset and understanding of mobile plant hazards
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Positive communication skills and reliability
Front End Loader experience (advantageous)
