As a key member of our Day of Surgery team, you'll care for patients throughout their surgical journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a fast-paced, professional, and supportive workplace. You'll be supported by management team, be part of a strong, creative team and have the opportunity to grow as you support our patient's each day.

Key responsibilities
Deliver secure, researched-based standards of nursing care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery

About you
Current Registration with AHPRA




Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
Prior experience in a day surgery setting highly regarded
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills

About us

Sippy Downs Day Surgery will be opening in November with 3 operating theatres providing surgical services to paediatric, adolescent and adult patients. Specialties include orthopaedics, endoscopy, plastics, pain management, oral & maxillofacial, paediatric dental.
