Primary Objective
Provide high-quality specialist nursing care to clients with Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD)-related conditions. The role involves clinical leadership, multidisciplinary teamwork, assessments, therapeutic interventions, case management, and education for staff, clients, families, and external agencies using evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities
Provide specialist nursing care to clients with AOD-related conditions.
Lead clinical activities and work within multidisciplinary teams.
Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions.
Manage cases and provide education to staff, clients, families, and external agencies.
Qualifications
Comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and AOD theoretical frameworks.
Demonstrated clinical experience applying these principles.
Postgraduate qualification (essential for ongoing appointment; fixed-term appointment possible for 18 months).
Remuneration Package
$131,100 - $139,950 (including salary $111,174 - $119,984)
