We are seeking a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic to join a well-established agricultural operation based in Katherine, Northern Territory.

This is a long-term position for a capable and reliable tradesperson who enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping machinery operating safely and efficiently.

You will work across a broad range of agricultural machinery and equipment. The successful applicant must be comfortable working as part of a team while also having the confidence and initiative to complete tasks autonomously.

The Role
Servicing, maintaining and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment
Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs
Carrying out preventative maintenance
Attending to breakdowns as required
Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
Ensuring machinery is kept secure, reliable and operational
Working collaboratively with the wider team
Managing assigned tasks independently when required





About You To be considered, you must:
Be a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic
Have experience servicing and repairing agricultural or heavy machinery
Possess strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Be able to work effectively within a team
Be confident working autonomously
Have a practical approach and solid attention to detail
Be reliable, safety-conscious and well organised
Hold a current driver's licence
