Stainless Steel Fabricator/Junior Tradesperson

STAINLESS STEEL FABRICATOR / JUNIOR TRADESPERSON (Casual to Permanent)

Type: Casual (with view to Full-time permanence)

Role Overview:

Maritimo requires a motivated fabricator who has just finished their apprenticeship or holds a recent Certificate III or IV in Sheet Metal Fabrication to join our fabrication team providing bright work to our range of luxury motor yachts. This role starts as a casual position to assess fit and weld quality, with the clear intention to progress to a secure, full-time permanent role for the the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret workshop drawings
Cut and prep stainless steel stock
Perform clean TIG welds on Stainless Steel
Polish, finish and quality-check metal components
Maintain a clean and protected workspace

Requirements include:
Recent Trade Certification completion (Certificate III in Sheet Metal Fabrication or equivalent)




Competent TIG welding skills on Stainless Steel
Solid work ethic and reliability
