Casual Retail Assistant & Administration Support

Employment Type: Casual

Hours: 3 days a week / 24hrs per week (9am-5pm)

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Casual Retail Assistant to join our small business. This is a varied role that combines customer service and retail duties with some general administration and office support.

The successful applicant will enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude and be comfortable helping wherever needed in a small-business setting.

Key Responsibilities

Retail & Customer Service
Welcoming and assisting customers
Processing sales and handling payments
Answering customer enquiries in person, by phone and email
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming retail area
Restocking products and assisting with stock control




Unpacking orders and general retail duties

Administration
Data entry and updating records
Filing and general office administration
Answering phones and responding to emails
Preparing documents, invoices or other basic paperwork
Assisting with stock, ordering and supplier administration
Providing general support to the business owner and team

About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Comfortable using POS software and Microsoft office software
Able to work independently and take initiative
Accurate and attentive to detail
Versatile and willing to assist with a variety of tasks
Previous retail or administration experience is essential.
