Gov Recruit is seeking an experienced ICT Support Officer to join a Federal Government organisation providing frontline ICT support and contributing to broader technology projects and operational activities. This role is ideal for an ICT professional with solid customer service, troubleshooting and Microsoft workplace experience who enjoys working directly with users and supporting reliable ICT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Provide frontline ICT support for hardware, software, network, account and device issues.
Triage, resolve and accelerate ICT incidents and service requests.
Administer user accounts, devices, software and ICT assets.
Support ICT projects, system upgrades, testing and technology rollouts.
Troubleshoot Microsoft on-premises and cloud environments.
Prepare and maintain ICT procedures, user guides and knowledge articles.
Liaise with vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders.
Support cyber security controls, patching and access management.




Identify recurring issues and contribute to ICT service improvements.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrated experience providing ICT support within an enterprise or Australian Government environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Experience supporting Microsoft on‑premises and cloud environments.
Solid communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Understanding of ICT security and governance requirements.
Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Current Baseline Security Clearance.

Desirable
Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID.
Understanding of ITIL principles.
Experience supporting Federal Government ICT environments.
