Rapid Labour Hire is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis in Melbourne. This is an prospect for a qualified carpenter with strong construction experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, can work independently and efficiently, and is committed to maintaining safe work practices.
Key responsibilities
Erect general framework, subflooring and roof framing
Set out house frames and complete site set outs
Complete material take-offs as required
Repair existing timber structures and framework
Ensure work is completed in accordance with the agreed scope of work
Maintain a high standard of workmanship across all projects
Follow company systems, processes, safety requirements and site procedures
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and manage a high-volume workload
About you
Certificate III in Carpentry
Current White Card
Experience across all aspects of carpentry
A proven background working on construction projects
Your own tools
A current Australian driver's licence and reliable transport
Strong technical knowledge of carpentry and construction
A solid understanding of OHS/WHS responsibilities and safe work practices
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Robust time management and organisational skills
