About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our Business Process team as an Accounting & Reporting (A&R;) Accountant, ANZ. This role reports to the A&R; Manager, APeC, based in Wacol, Brisbane.

What you will be doing

Key responsibilities
Perform daily accounting tasks and manage month-end activities
Ownership of the daily accounting activities and ensuring data integrity to enable accurate reporting
Process, analyse and reconcile financial information
Complete investigation, commentary and explanations on income and expense variations




Assist in completion of monthly and end-of-year financial accounting reporting requirements, meeting strict deadlines
Assist with budgeting processes
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations
Actively involved in Risk Controls Management
Closely cooperate with the business departments of multiple companies within the region, providing financial professional support
Liaise with external tax consultants on monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings

About you
Degree in accounting or equivalent
3 - 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
SAP experience is an added advantage
Positive in Excel and preferably with an interest in Power BI, AI-related tools
