Balmain Care For Kids are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Trainee educator. This is a full-time role based in our Balmain, NSW. As a Trainee, you will have the prospect to gain hands‑on experience in the childcare industry while working towards your nationally recognised qualification, being a Certificate 3 in Early Education.

What you'll be doing
Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children
Participating in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate educational programs and activities
Maintaining a safe and stimulating learning workplace for the children
Communicating effectively with parents and families
Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Participating in ongoing career development and training

What we're looking for
No experience required, you will learn in the role
A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well‑being
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work well in a team environment




Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to work towards a relevant childcare qualification
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
