We are partnering with a leading Data & AI Consulting organisation to hire an experienced Databricks Solution Architect for a permanent opportunity based in Sydney, Australia .

Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
Design and lead enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
Architect scalable cloud data platforms across AWS, Azure and/or GCP.
Lead end-to-end Databricks implementations from discovery through production.
Build contemporary data pipelines using Apache Spark, Delta Lake and ETL/ELT best practices.
Drive platform performance, scalability, governance and security.
Lead architecture workshops and engage with senior business and technology stakeholders.




Mentor engineering teams and establish architecture best practices.

Required Skills
Solid hands-on Databricks expertise
Client-facing consulting and stakeholder management

Experience: 10+ years in Data Engineering / Data Platforms / Analytics

Preferred
Databricks Data Engineer Qualified Certification
Additional AWS, Azure or GCP certifications
