You'll be the person on the ground keeping projects moving safely, on schedule, and to the standard we're known for. You'll manage our internal carpentry team and coordinate subcontractors, and you'll be a key point of contact between site and our directors.

Key responsibilities
Running the site day-to-day, organised, prepared, and ready to lead from the first minute of the day
Managing our carpentry team and supervising subcontractors and trades on site
Ordering and coordinating materials so the right things are on site at the right time
Ensuring every sub-contractor and supplier is signed in and compliant with our WHS/SWMS requirements before they set foot on site
Running fortnightly toolbox meetings and identifying opportunities to improve how we work
Mentoring and supervising apprentices, and delegating tasks to keep the team productive
Reading and working from architectural and engineering plans (digitally, on-site)
Keeping clients updated and maintaining robust relationships when they're on site
Reporting regularly to the directors and using initiative to solve problems before they land on their desk

About you




Completion of a Carpentry Trade Certificate III minimum
Completion of Cert IV ideal
Current driver's licence and White Card
Own tools and reliable transport
Proven experience managing people and running residential building sites
Solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements and site safety practices
Comfortable reading plans and using tablets/smart devices on site
A leader who can work autonomously, take ownership, and bring energy to a growing team
