THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Qualified Carpenter to join the team, specialising in the installation, maintenance, repair and compliance of fire doors across commercial and industrial sites throughout the Brisbane metro area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a carpenter looking to move into a specialised, reliable and growing area of the industry, with ongoing training and genuine long-term career progression.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:
Installation and replacement of fire doors and associated hardware
Fire door repairs, adjustments and maintenance
Door and frame inspections
Installation of hinges, closers, locks and fire seals
Rectification and compliance works
Fault finding and identifying required repairs
Completing service reports and documentation
Working with customers, site teams and other technicians

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will have:
Certificate III in Carpentry / Qualified Carpenter
Solid hands-on carpentry experience




Experience with doors, frames or hardware highly regarded
Good understanding of construction and safe work practices
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Current driver's licence
White Card

Fire-door experience is highly regarded but not essential, with training provided for the right candidate.
