Westlink Fencing & Gates is looking for a qualified and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team. The position is permanent and full time. The ideal candidate should have experience in Metal Fabricating with great understanding of different types of design, construction, and materials, as well as safety in a workplace setting.
Main tasks and duties are as follows but not limited to,
●Reviewing plans to identify project needs and fabrication steps
●Determine metal specifications, such as materials and sizes
●Preparing, measuring, cutting, and shaping metals as per plans/design
●Construct metal sections, assembling, and ensuring all parts are properly aligned
●Installation and finishing of metal fence/gates
●Conduct final check and quality control of finished works
●Secure use of hand and power tools
●Adhere to workplace health and safety standards
Requirements:
●Trade qualification or relevant experience
●Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively
●Completes works to a high standard
●Able to use hand and power tools
●Share our business values to maintain a 'Good Name'
●Have attention to detail
●Ensure workplace safety requirement is applied
