Glad Group Services is seeking professional and customer-focused Security Officers to provide a safe and secure setting within a shopping centre located in the Eastern Suburbs.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular patrols of the shopping centre including internal and external areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and customer assistance requests.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and tenants.
• Manage access control and monitor suspicious activity.
• Complete incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required.
• Work closely with centre management and other onsite teams.
Skills And Experiences
Skills & Qualifications
• Valid security licence.
• Previous security experience preferred (retail or commercial settings advantageous).
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and qualified under pressure.
• Good observation and reporting skills.
• Customer service mindset.
Working Conditions
• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Combination of indoor and outdoor patrol duties.
