Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Rockhampton City, Queensland. This part time, permanent position is ideal for individuals looking to start their career in retail. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and maintaining the store’s presentation, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and qualified manner.
Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store, including product displays.
Assist with stock management,



including receiving and replenishing inventory.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Participate in promotional activities and events to drive sales.

Qualifications:
No formal education required; however, a high school diploma is preferred.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
