Silica Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our team.

What we're looking for
Minimum 5+ years of professional cooking experience
Formal training or equivalent practical experience in a qualified kitchen setting.
Advanced knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavour development across various cuisines.
Proven ability to manage kitchen staff effectively, including delegation and communication.
Solid understanding of food safety, health and hygiene regulations.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure during service.
Creative flair and passion for menu development.
Cost control expertise and ability to manage kitchen budgets effectively.
Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all team members
