We currently have a vacancy in our Catering department for a skilled full-time Cook. We are seeking a Cook with a can-do attitude, focus on food safety, and a passion for great food and service to join our kitchen team.

We are a large modern licensed Club in the heart of the Toowoomba CBD. We operate 7 days a week with an extensive menu and restaurant food service being a predominant driver of the business.

Tasks & responsibilities
Ensure productive and timely food preparation and delivery of meal services
Clean, sanitise and maintain cooking utensils, equipment and food preparation areas
Ensuring accurate portioning and that special dietary requirements are observed
Ensuring all OH&S; compliance is achieved, adhere to safe work practices and safe food handling procedures
Contribute to menu planning in collaboration with other Cooks and Chefs




Contribute to workplace culture by displaying high levels of customer service and contributing ideas
Follow correct safe handling techniques to transport and store food items
Knowledge of chemical handling

We seek:
Commercial Cookery Certificate IV
Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen environment
The quality of valuable time management skills & the ability to work well under pressure
A cook with a solid emphasis on food quality and presentation
Maintain a clean and safe environment
A calm & confident attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment
