Area Profile:

The Royal Perth Bentley Group Mental Health Division is the largest Mental Health Service within the East Metropolitan Health Service, across a diverse geographical area. Mental Health Division delivers care through 128 mental health beds, which are across youth, adult, rehabilitation and older adult inpatient settings.

Position Profile:

We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists to the Mental Health Division across Royal Perth Hospital,



City East Community Mental Health Service and Bentley Mental Health Service.

Across these positions the Consultant Psychiatrist will promote patient safety and quality of care whilst providing leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers.

This position, in collaboration with the Medical Co-Director, Clinical Leads and other Consultants, works to achieve national, state and EMHS performance standards and targets.
