Construction Trades Trainer & Assessor - Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery
We're looking for a skilled and experienced trainer to deliver and assess Certificate III training across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery.
In this role, you'll provide high-quality training, assessment, and student support in accordance with ASQA and the Standards for RTOs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver and assess units across Tiling, Bricklaying, Carpentry, Painting and Joinery
Design and run engaging training sessions, both face-to-face and online
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessment tools
Run practical training sessions that meet WHS requirements
Track student progress and provide ongoing academic support




Keep training and assessment records accurate and up to date
Take part in validation and moderation meetings
Maintain compliance with ASQA, training package, and RTO requirements
Stay current with industry developments and pursue ongoing professional development
What You'll Need
A relevant trade qualification (Certificate III or higher)
TAE***** Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Hands-on industry experience
Solid understanding of Australian construction standards and WHS requirements
VET sector training experience (preferred)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence working with both domestic and international students
Pay: $***** per hour
