You'll receive hands‐on training in a modern dealership while completing yourAUR***** Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, gaining valuable experience working with the latest vehicle technology.
Already started your apprenticeship?
Your completed training and experience can be recognised, allowing you to continue progressing towards becoming a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic.

What You'll Be Doing
Servicing and maintaining light vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Repairing engines, braking, steering and suspension systems.
Developing your knowledge of battery systems and high‐voltage components under qualified supervision.
Using advanced workshop tools and manufacturer‐approved equipment.
Following workplace safety procedures when working with emerging vehicle technologies.
Supporting day‐to‐day workshop operations while continuing to develop your trade skills.
About You
We're looking for apprentices who are motivated, reliable and committed to building a long‐term career in the automotive industry.
To be successful, you'll have:
A genuine interest in cars and automotive technology.
An enthusiasm for electric and hybrid vehicle technology.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
A willingness to learn and adapt to current and evolving technologies.
Good attention to detail.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
For 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year applicants – previous experience and current enrolment in a Light Vehicle Mechanical apprenticeship.
