We're looking for an experiencedReceptionist Managerto join our close-knit team.
This is a varied, hands‐on role combiningcustomer service, reception management, team coordination and animal care.

About the Role
As our Receptionist Manager, you'll be an important link between our Guest's Owners and our small Animal care team.
You'll help ensure Reception runs smoothly, bookings and guest information are accurate, our team is well informed, and every pet parent receives warm and professional service.
This isnot purely a desk‐based reception role.
You will also work hands‐on with our small dog and cat guests, so confidence and previous experience in animal care are essential.
You'll work closely with our Boutique Managers and will need to be comfortable taking responsibility, prioritising tasks, delegating to Animal Attendants and helping the day run smoothly.
Reception & Management Responsibilities
Welcome dogs, cats and their families during arrivals and departures
Accurately record all relevant guest information in our booking system
Provide warm, professional customer service by phone,
email and in person
Respond to enquiries regarding services, availability, bookings and guest care
Manage bookings and maintain accurate guest and customer profiles
Complete thorough check‐in and check‐out procedures
Review feeding instructions, medications, health information and special care requirements
Communicate clearly with the animal care team regarding each guest's needs, routine and personality
Assist with daily planning, guest lists and reception operations
Delegate appropriate tasks to Animal Attendants and help coordinate the team
Maintain a calm, organised and welcoming front‐of‐house environment
Identify issues early and communicate effectively with management
You'll work exclusively withsmall and toy dog breeds (10kg and under) and cats, providing thoughtful, attentive care throughout their stay.
To succeed in this position, you'll be someone who is dependable, organised and confident taking responsibility.
Previous experience in the animal care industry is essential.
You will also need:
Strong customer service and communication skills
Self‐motivated and ability to multi‐task
Fluent spoken and written English skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
The ability to delegate and provide direction to Animal Attendants
High standards of cleanliness and animal care
A calm, friendly and professional manner
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Reliability and excellent time management
Availability to work weekends and during school holiday periods
A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
The ability to commence shifts at7:00 AM, and end at 4:00 PM
A genuine passion for providing exceptional care to small dogs and cats
