Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker ready to make a real difference?
Connecting Families is seeking a compassionate, skilled worker to provide 2:1 support to
an 18-year-old female client in Bringelly, NSW with complex behavioural and mental
health needs.
About the Role
Support includes daily living tasks, community access, emotional support, and Behavioural challenges: absconding, physical and verbal aggression, self-harm, intimidation, property damage, non-compliance
Applicants must be comfortable working in a high-risk environment and managing complex behaviours.
What We're Looking For
Experience working with youth with mental health or behavioural needs
Ability to manage complex behaviours safely
Patience, empathy, resilience, and strong rapport-building skills
Flexible and adaptable to meet unpredictable client needs
Requirements
Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent
Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support
