Playground manufacturing located in Western Suburbs of Melbourne is seeking an experienced fabricator to join the team.
You will design, fabricate, construct and install a range of commercial playground structures and play scape equipment.
Key responsibilities
Read and interpret complex shop drawings and markup plans
Operate plant, machinery and handheld tools to complete assigned jobs and projects
Perform MIG, TIG and WIG welding as required and to specification
Perform general metal fabrications in line with both customer specifications and internal requirements
Create a jig and use jig as required to perform fabrication
Perform manual lifting and handling when required
Perform oxy cuttings and plasma cutting
Perform general assembly tasks
About you
Trade qualified Boiler Maker with minimum 2 years industry experience
Manual driver's license
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and markup plans
Ability to schedule work and resources required for the site
HR license (Preferred not Essential)
Dogman/Riggers license (Preferred not Essential)
Crane Operator license (Preferred not Essential)
Must have full working rights in Australia
