About the role
This role will be based on-site at one of our residential properties across Greater Sydney.
Normally, you will be based at a specific apartment but, as part of a collaborative team structure, site locations may be adjusted in line with operational requirements, providing you with the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high-quality properties.
You will be responsible for:
Supporting the Building Manager with all maintenance requirements for tenants and the apartment building
Carrying out general day-to-day repairs across the building and apartments
Performing basic maintenance tasks including tiling, patching, painting, replacing light bulbs, and minor plumbing works
Ordering materials and organising quotations for larger repairs
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked workshop
Conducting weekly and monthly inspections in line with company procedures
Tracing and repairing internal and external water leaks
Installing, removing, and replacing appliances as required




Coordinating with and supporting licensed trades for more complex or specialised repairs
Collaborating with other trades on larger projects within the building
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience working in large residential buildings, with a strong understanding of apartment operations
Strong organisational and time management skills
General knowledge of minor electrical work, painting, basic repairs, and plumbing
High attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Sound knowledge of WHS and protected work practices
A proactive attitude and pride in delivering work to the Meriton standard
A friendly and professional approach when interacting with tenants and team members

Additional Information
This is a full-time position, so you must havefull permanent working rights in Australia and be available to work full time hours.
Note this role is for our Apartments and NOT our hotel/suites division.
