About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Process Safety Specialist to support a comprehensive Process Safety Current State Assessment and gap closure program.
Working closely with the Process Safety Advisor and site stakeholders, you'll help establish a clear and integrated view of process safety hazards, critical controls, governance, systems, assurance activities and supporting evidence.
The focus is on identifying gaps, improving governance and building sustainable process safety foundations across the operation.

Broad exposure across process safety, asset management and assurance
Work across critical controls, SAP, Archer, Enablon and MOC
Chance to deliver practical improvements to process safety governance and systems
Key Responsibilities
Complete process safety current-state assessments and identify gaps, risks and improvement actions
Validate process safety hazards, top events, critical controls and ownership
Review and improve Hazard Registers, Critical Control Registers and supporting documentation
Validate process safety critical assets, maintenance strategies, master data and evidence within SAP Asset Management
Review risks, incidents, actions and change management information across Archer, Enablon and MOC systems
Assess Critical Control Verification,



monitoring, bowtie reporting and assurance activities
Support technical process safety reviews across plant, utilities, fire protection and storage systems
Develop and maintain an integrated Process Safety Control Pack, gap analysis, action plan and governance framework
About You
Demonstrated Process Safety Management experience within mining, oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation or heavy industry
Strong understanding of critical controls, bowties, HAZOPs and risk assessments
Experience with Process Hazard Analysis and Management of Change
Strong understanding of assurance frameworks and structured risk management systems
Experience with SAP Asset Management
Strong stakeholder engagement, technical writing and facilitation skills
Working knowledge of structured Management Operating System standards would be highly regarded
