OUR CLIENT
We are partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturer based in Campbellfield that produces plastic packaging solutions for the food industry.
The Role
This is aMonday-to-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMrole based in Campbellfield.
You'll be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance onplastic blow moulding and injection moulding equipment, ensuring production runs efficiently.
The position commences on acasual basis, with the opportunity to transition to apermanent full-time roleupon successful performance and completion of qualifying hours.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative, scheduled, and breakdown maintenance.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
Service and replace mechanical components, including bearings, gearboxes, motors, and conveyors.
Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and equipment adjustments.
Inspect machinery and recommend reliability improvements.
Respond promptly to production breakdowns.




Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.
Work safely in line with site procedures and food manufacturing standards.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams.
Participate in toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
Minimum 1–2 years' maintenance fitting experience in manufacturing.
Solid mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in maintaining industrial production machinery.
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Highly Regarded
Experience with plastic blow moulding or injection moulding machinery
Pneumatic and hydraulic system experience
Exposure to robotic or automated production equipment
MIG, TIG, or Arc welding skills
Experience in food manufacturing or packaging environments
