Jennings Partners is a well established chartered accountancy that specialises in taxation and business advisory.
Our firm has a great family culture, an extensive client and referrer network and has been growing strongly year on year.
Our team consists of around 20 staff under one partner, including managers, accountants at all levels, bookkeepers, administrative staff, internal accounts, secondment and offshore staff.
We provide business services and taxation to clients across a broad range of industries.
Jennings Partners is seeking aprofessional, personable and positive Receptionistto be the first point of contact for our clients, visitors and team.
We are looking for someone who isfriendly, approachable, helpful and genuinely enjoys working with people.
This is a varied role combining reception, client service and administrative support.
You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional front-office environment, while providing essential administrative and compliance support to the wider team.
You will be someone who naturally builds rapport, makes clients feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door, and brings a positive and friendly attitude to the workplace each day.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Front office & Client Service
Answer and manage incoming telephone calls and emails promptly and professionally
Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
Manage meeting room bookings and maintain the boardroom calendar
Book and coordinate client meetings
Administration & Compliance Support
Coordinate daily incoming and outgoing mail
Perform general office administration including scanning, filing, and organising couriers
Collate financial statements and tax returns for client distribution, including binding, emailing for approval/signing, and returning documents
Process ATO Assessments, check against lodged Income Tax Returns (ITRs), and distribute to clients
Prepare annual ASIC statements and monitor client ASIC fee payments to ensure compliance
Maintain accurate records and adhere to firm policies and procedures
Perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support the team as required.
Office
Office Coordination & Culture
Organise monthly tax sessions
Coordinate weekly in-house Friday drinks and nibbles
Assist in organising staff birthdays, office events, and functions
Maintain office supplies and coordinate orders
Oversee kitchen and common areas
Liaise with building management when required
Undertake filing, photocopying, and scanning as needed

Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
High attention to detail, particularly when handling financial documents
Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
High level of discretion and respect for confidentiality
Ability to follow internal procedures and office routines
Experience with MYOB AE is advantageous (full training provided)
