Field Service Technician – Air Compressors

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of industrial compressed air equipment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems and dealing directly with customers.
Key responsibilities
Service, maintain, repair and inspect compressors and related compressed air equipment
Attend customer sites to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Conduct functionality and operational testing
Install compressors, refrigerated dryers and associated equipment
Install and modify compressed air pipework
Complete mechanical fitting and assembly work
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Complete service documentation and reports accurately
Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment condition and required works
About you
Mechanical, fitting, plumbing, electrical or related trade experience
A recognized trade qualification or strong hands-on mechanical experience
Experience with compressors,



compressed air equipment or industrial machinery is highly desirable
Robust mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of preventative maintenance
Ability to read and understand technical information
Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to travel to customer sites on a daily basis
