About the role
As the Service Manager at Melbourne Marine Centre, a premier Certified Mercury Service Centre, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department.
This is a full-time position based inDandenong South, VIC.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality marine services to our valued customers.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate the experienced service team, including scheduling, task allocation, and performance monitoring
Oversee the maintenance and repair of both outboard and sterndrive product
Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice and solutions
Ensure all work is completed within agreed timelines and to the highest standards




Maintain accurate records and documentation related to service activities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined workflows
Foster a positive, safety-conscious work environment and promote continuous learning
What we're looking for
Extensive experience in a marine/automotive service management or senior technician role
Thorough knowledge of marine systems, including engines, electrical, and mechanical components
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities
Ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians
Relevant qualifications or certifications in marine mechanics or a related field
Proficiency in using marine service software and tools
