As the firm continues to grow, they're seeking an experiencedBusiness Services Managerto take ownership of a portfolio of clients and lead a team within our Business Services division.
This is a genuine opportunity for a CA/CPA-qualified accountant ready to step up into a client-facing leadership role, with direct access to Directors and real influence over how the practice grows.
About the Role
Managing a portfolio of company, trust, partnership and individual clients across accounting, tax and advisory services
Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/IAS work prepared by your team
Leading tax planning and business advisory engagements, including direct client delivery
Overseeing management reporting and financial analysis for key clients
Building and maintaining senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
Supervising, mentoring and developing Intermediate and Senior Accountants
Managing WIP, billing and workflow across your portfolio
Liaising with the ATO on complex compliance and correspondence matters




Supporting clients' use of cloud accounting platforms, including Xero
Contributing to practice growth, including involvement in business development
About You
CA or CPA qualified, with strong post-qualification experience in an Australian chartered or public practice workplace
Proven experience managing a client portfolio and leading a team
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax, compliance and financial reporting requirements
A commercial mindset with genuine interest in business advisory and client growth
Excellent communication skills and confidence building relationships at all levels, including with Directors
A track record of mentoring and developing junior staff
