Mater Private Hospital Mackayhas an exciting opportunity for an experiencedRegistered Nurseto join theHigh Dependency Unit.
This is a permanent part time role, working 20 hours per week.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to the Mackay community.
Our close-knit team consists of experienced and versatile professionals who are dedicated to supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.
As a 5-bed unit, no two days are the same.
You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases, allowing you to expand your skills and take on a variety of responsibilities.

About you
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with no restrictions
Experience in working in an Acute Care setting
Basic ECG and Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation skills
Partner with patients and their support persons throughout the episode of care to provide patient-centred care with regard to personal and/or cultural needs and preferences.
Currency of life support skills applicable to patient-centred care environment/specialty; i.e. basic, advanced and/or paediatric.
A willingness to learn and grow within a clinically strong team.
Please note you must be willing to participate in a 24/7 rotating roster
