About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experiencedService Technicianto join a leading power tools organisation on a casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded technician with experience repairingpower tools, mechanical equipment or similar products.
You will work in a professional workshop environment, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and testing equipment to ensure it is returned to customers in excellent working condition.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and fault-finding power tools and equipment
Repairing and servicing tools to manufacturer standards
Conducting functional and safety testing
Recording repair findings, labour and parts accurately
Identifying and reporting parts shortages or technical issues
Maintaining a strong daily repair output
Following technical procedures and safety requirements




Assisting with dispatch during busy periods
Working closely with the Supervisor and wider team
What We're Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience repairingpower tools or similar mechanical/electrical equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
A high level of attention to detail
Good problem-solving ability
The ability to work independently
Strong time management and organisational skills
Basic to intermediate computer skills
A solid commitment to safety and quality workmanship
