Connected Well is a medical support services organisation, supporting General Practice (primary health care) in Canowindra.
Our main client is a popular rural GP who delivers pro-active, carefully-planned care of patients with chronic conditions.
From September ****, we will be working towards supporting a new acute-only clinic that complements our GP's focus on chronic care.
We are a small team looking for additional staff to share reception and patient-journey tasks.
We are happy to provide full training to the right people.
We are looking for people who are friendly, reliable, organised and willing to learn.
The positions are on a casual basis with varying shifts on a fortnightly roster with up to 20 hours per fortnight.
The hours may increase in line with the growth of the business.
The ideal candidates would be available to start mid to late September.
Experience with computers and fluent typing
Highly Regarded
Experience of working remotely as part of a team using instant messaging and email
Medical reception experience highly regarded but not essential
CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Qualifications & experience
Proven ability to problem-solve and multitask, with great organisational skills
Ability to quickly grasp current concepts and retain information
Ability to confidently work autonomously but cooperatively
Willing to try new ways of doing things in the pursuit of better outcomes
Able to engage the public in a bright, friendly manner whether they deserve it or not
Tasks & responsibilities
Negotiate with patients on behalf of the GP
Manage patient interactions and expectations
Reception on clinic days
Phone reception sessions
Manage incoming and outgoing communications
Be responsible for engaging with the 'journey' of a sub-set of patients, including recalls and reminders
Liaise with the practices of other Health Professionals and other medical industry organisations
Learn the sections of the Medical Benefits Schedule which apply to General Practice
Pre & post clinic setup & pack up on clinic days
You will be paid as a Support Services Level 2 under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award [MA******] with the view of moving to a Level 3 after an initial training has been completed
