About The Role
With EPC, Construction and Maintenance projects and clients growing, we are looking for a customer and delivery focused Construction Manager who is proactive in delivering on our client's expectations.
You will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders and work to maintain the energetic team culture at Verbrec.
You will be exposed to clients across defence, water, oil & gas, utilities, mining, renewables, and other local industry projects.
This role, reporting to the General Manager, forms part of the local leadership team responsible for developing the business strategy, culture and performance across the South Business Unit.
As a Construction Manager You Will Be Responsible For
Construction activities completed safely, on time and budget
Input into electrical construction portions of EPC tenders
Developing and managing strong client relationships
Managing electrical construction and maintenance teams and sub-contractors
About You
You will be focused on developing a successful career alongside a passionate team with a good work and life balance.
Your experiences will display:




Previous Construction Manager experience in a similar position
Previous supervisory experience within the resource industry
Demonstrated experience leading and managing workforce and subcontractors, typically within an electrical construction environment.
Understanding of Enterprise Agreements
Understanding of Project Management principles including Contract management.
Demonstrated budget management experience.
A Class SA electrical licence is preferred but not essential
Hold, or be eligible to obtain a DCAC clearance
White Card
Management of eCOC regulatory requirements
Solution-focused, practical, functional problem solver
Solid sense of ownership and accountability of work
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage and build client relationships.
Current Australian Driver's Licence – required for regular travel to regional projects
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements
