Key responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop the team
Create a positive and accountable workplace culture
Manage daily venue operations
Prepare and manage weekly staff rosters
Manage staffing levels and labour costs
Recruit, onboard and train team members
Coordinate bakery, kitchen and front-of-house operations
Lead the team through busy breakfast and lunch periods
Support the team on the floor and register when required
Oversee stock levels, inventory and wastage
Manage supplier relationships and place supplier orders




Ensure stock and ingredients are ordered accurately and on time
Oversee product quality, consistency and presentation
Coordinate daily focaccia slab production according to customer and wholesale orders
Manage focaccia slab orders, pickups and deliveries to wholesale customers
Ensure wholesale orders are prepared accurately, on time and to the required quality standard
Maintain strong communication between production, suppliers, delivery partners and customers
Maintain food safety, hygiene and operational standards
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste and control costs
About you
Previous management or senior supervisory experience in hospitality
Robust leadership and people-management skills
Experience managing a busy café, bakery or food venue
Experience with rostering and labour management
Good understanding of stock control, inventory and supplier ordering
Strong attention toproduct quality and consistency
Robust food safety and operational standards
Excellent customer-service skills
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to coordinate multiple orders, production requirements and delivery deadlines
