The George Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Part TimeRegistered Nursesto join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Provide evidenced based nursing care in an acute setting
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
Understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work both independently and within a team structure




The ability to always act in a professional manner
Selection Criteria:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Basic computer skills
Demonstrated risk management and WHS
Ability to review and implement continuous improvement programs
Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
Supportive team environment
Close to Public Transport
