ASKIN Performance Panels is a leading Australian and Current Zealand manufacturer and installer of insulated panel systems.
With operations across Australia and New Zealand, we support major commercial, industrial and temperature controlled construction projects.
We are looking for an organised Scheduling & Inventory Coordinator to join our Dandenong South operations team.
About the Role
This is a key coordination role connecting Production, Sales, Dispatch, Purchasing and Operations to ensure materials are available, production schedules are accurate and customer commitments are achieved.
You will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory accuracy and providing reliable operational information to support day-to-day manufacturing decisions.
This is a hands-on operational role, with regular interaction with stakeholders.
You will need to be comfortable working with changing priorities, solving problems and following issues through to resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily production schedules and work orders using Pronto
Monitor production progress and identify delays, material shortages and scheduling conflicts
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements
Coordinate raw material requirements to support production
Conduct cycle counts, stock reconciliations and inventory checks
Monitor coil inventory and investigate discrepancies
Process production, waste and inventory transactions accurately
Work closely with Sales, Production,
Dispatch and Purchasing to meet customer delivery requirements
Maintain production reports, scorecards and KPI information
Analyse production and inventory data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Support continuous improvement across scheduling, inventory and production processes
Escalate issues that may impact production, costs or customer commitments
What We're Looking For
You will be someone who is highly organised, analytical and commercially aware, with the ability to stay calm and make decisions when priorities change.
You will bring
Experience in production scheduling, inventory control, manufacturing administration or a similar operational role
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Pronto experience is highly regarded
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with operational data
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong problem solving and analytical capability
Ability to manage multiple priorities and time critical requirements
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive approach to identifying and improving processes
Location & Hours
This is a full-time position based at our Dandenong South site and requires five days per week on site.
