Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Full-Time Cook to join our culinary team in Wetherill Park, Australia.
As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to an efficient and positive work environment.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and customer orders
Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and rotated to maintain freshness
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, reporting any issues promptly
Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment




Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge
Provide excellent customer service by addressing special requests and dietary concerns
Qualifications
Proven experience as a cook in a commercial kitchen setting
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Current food safety and hygiene certification
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipmentExcellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Creativity and passion for food presentation and flavor combinations
Familiarity with various dietary restrictions and food allergens
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
