Aerodrome Reporting and Works Safety Officer
Reporting to the Oz Airports State Manager/Team Leader, this role is responsible for maintaining compliance of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations to ensure the safety and protection of the airport infrastructure and all airport users.
Key responsibilities
Report works progress and issues to Snr AR&WSO;/Aerodrome Manager
Escort contractors and site visitors on the aerodrome
Supervise the safe and efficient conduct of contractors on the aerodrome
Ensure FOD checks are thorough and of the highest standard
Maintain a high level of observation and situational awareness whilst operating on the aerodrome
Promote and encourage aerodrome safety
About you
Demonstrated knowledge of Airport Reporting and or Works Safety Officer duties
Knowledge of CASA MOS Pt 139 essential
Aerodrome Reporting/Works Safety Officer certificate advantageous
Hold or willing to obtain Aircraft Radiotelephone Operator Certificate of Proficiency
A current C class driver's licence
