Your New Role
As anLCC Distribution Designer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compliant designs across subdivision and power distribution projects.
Based in Hendra, you'll work within a technically strong team, taking ownership of designs from concept through to IFC.
In this hands-on role, you will:
Produceconcept and detailed LCC designsfor Energex subdivision projects
Prepare and reviewEnergex works plans and technical documentation
Ensure designs align withEnergex standards, manuals, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate withProject Managers, construction teams, and fellow designers
Liaise withEnergex and relevant authoritiesto support approvals and resolve design queries
Participate indesign reviews, verifications, and updatesacross the project lifecycleContribute topractical, buildable design solutionsand resolve design challenges
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Strong understanding ofsubdivision design processes and workflows
Ability to interpret and applyEnergex standards and technical documentation
Knowledge of key standards includingLCC Design Manual, QECM, QEMM, AS****, AS****, AS****, STNW*********




Strong communication skills and aproactive, solutions-focused approach
Competency usingMicrosoft Office tools
A trade background within the distribution network (highly regarded, not essential)
